Mack Misstress:
born in Oakland California.
Raised in the San Leandro, Oakland area. Misstress has been performing on the stage since the age of nine. Doing talent shows in her elementary school, to being plays in College. She has always enjoyed being on stage and in front of the crowds. Going to local parties and stealing the spotlight with her fiery delivery and rapid free-style is her favorite hobby.
In 1999 Misstress met with producer Rod, of Ace High Records and Recorded her first song with Lil Fridge “Thug Love”. Later in 2001 Misstress Proceed on her musical journey. She Met with another Producer Lisa Hall of No Mind Productions. Recording songs like “Watch Out”, (which later came to make it as a runner up in a local radio station contest) and “Get Your Hustle On” featuring Shai Heat.
In 2005 she worked with lead singer of funk band Lowfat Chris Uiterwijk, and preformed at numerous shows. Free styling to whatever they played. Venues include
Irelands 32(San Francisco), Octopus Lounge (Pacifica), Blake’s (Berkeley) and Starry Plough (Oakland).
September of 2005 Misstress entered a freestyle contest for Vh1(Freestyle59) and made it as an honoree on the Web site. You can also catch Mack Misstress every once in a while at a freestyle battle at the Oakland Metro, ran by Jamie Kennedy.
There Misstress has managed to lead a women’s freestyle legacy. The First lady ever to get into the championship round.
Now here she is once again working on her solo project. Writing and picking out song arrangements for each of the phenomenal lyrics you will crank up in your stereo.
